Literacy Night: Follow the Yellow Book Road
Join us for a trip down the yellow BOOK road on Tuesday, February 18 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM for 2025 Literacy Night!
Attendees will have fun playing games, creating art, voting on their favorite book covers, and adding free books to their personal library. Plus we have new things in store - we can't wait to see you there!
NEW! This year, Unbakeable Edible Cookie Dough will be joining us. Enjoy one scoop of their gourmet cookie dough for $6 or a sampler tray featuring 12 mini-scoops for $20. 10% of all the sales from that evening at the Literacy Night will go back to the PTO.

Roller Skate Fundraiser at Thunder Blades
Get your skate on at Thunder Blades and support the PTO!
We've partnered with Thunder Blades for a PTO fundraiser on Friday, February 28, from 7-10 PM. Purchase a ticket and rent skates, and a portion of the fees are returned to your Big Lake PTO. Funds raised support teachers and students at Liberty and Independence Elementary schools right here in Big Lake!
When you visit, let Thunder Blades know you are there for the Big Lake PTO to ensure your ticket/skate costs are attributed to the PTO.

Yearbook Orders
There’s nothing else like your school yearbook. Order your Liberty and Independence yearbooks before January 31, 2024, to guarantee a yearbook for your students.
After January 31, we cannot increase the total amount of yearbooks allotted for each school, so orders placed after this date are not guaranteed to receive a yearbook.
